POLLUTION AND THE CAUSES
The co2 and methane shield prevent the escape of heat generated on the earth. The 250 ppm concentration of carbon dioxide is expected to rise and may reach 600-700 ppm level, indicating that the industrialization is causing more pollution as compared to existing or pre industrialization era.
Besides the increase in temperature by 2 to 3 degree c, CO2 would cause breathing problem too. More co2 would cause less free oxygen and ever increasing population would suffer different type of ailment related to lungs and breathing.
The melting of ice and rising of water level of sea would cause many other hardships besides change of cropping pattern and rainfall. Earth axis is inclined to the solar axis and there fore the North Pole and South Pole have different temperature differentials. North Pole is always exposed to sun and therefore the major effect of change of temperature would be noticed on the South Polar Region.
The equatorial surface faces the direct perpendicular sun rays and gets maximum heat per unit time. As we drift away from the equator the temperature go on diminishing and at the polar region it is too cool and below the freezing point of water.
The increasing heat would cause changes in the Troposphere that would have change contents of water vapors and thus influence the cloud pattern and rains.
This seems to be a very simple act of nature. But we today are the resultant of about 600 million years of regular change. 550 million years back the first shellfish was noticed .About 435 million year back the first plant came into existence. 250 million year back the Dinosaur came into existence and was wiped out by strange reasons after 115 million of years of its existence. It is estimated that the human beings came into existence app. 2 millions year ago.
The age of earth is estimated to be 4.6 billion years and contain oxygen to the extent of 28%. The important things for life besides food is water and oxygen and we have to work hard to preserve the essential items at all cost
Perhaps that can be achieved by protecting the water contents and the level of oxygen. The per capita requirement has to be ascertained and maintained for sustainable living on earth. THE GREEN HOUSE GASSES NEEDS A CARE FUL ANALYSES AND PROTECTIVE MEASURE in order to let the humanity exist on earth for another 600 million years at least
